"Conscious Patient" educational campaign

Another edition of the campaign has been launched "The Conscious Patient" aimed at making patients aware that they are a vital link in the whole therapeutic process - their knowledge, involvement and responsibility matter.

The highly educational message was ensured through the support of patients and prominent authorities from the respective therapeutic areas, who addressed the topic from the prevention, diagnosis, treatment side. The articles are available on the portal www.pacjentilekarz.pl

 

The Polish Society of Oncology has assumed substantive patronage of the campaign.

Jacek Rozenek, a Polish film, television, theatre and dubbing actor, became the face of the campaign.

BRAIN ACCIDENT

As many as 90,000 Poles suffer a stroke every year. It is the third cause of death and one of the leading causes of disability.

CZERNIAK

In Poland, up to 4 000 new cases of melanoma are diagnosed annually. Most of these tumours can be treated surgically. However, when a patient is not eligible for surgery, he or she can count on effective systemic treatment, which extends life by up to several years.

HIPERURICEMIA
