2nd Healthcare Communication Congress

The congress is aimed at everyone who wants to build valuable relationships with patients, the business environment and within healthcare organisations.

Particularly to representatives of units subordinate to and supervised by the Ministry of Health, spokespersons, patient rights attorneys and those involved in health promotion in hospitals. Also to representatives of local government units, organisers of health prevention campaigns, non-governmental organisations, representatives of patient organisations and medical universities.

We are also keen to hear from those involved in the development and implementation of communication technologies in the healthcare field. This year's edition of the Congress has been expanded to include representatives of the pharmaceutical industry, logistics, dietary supplement manufacturers and system regulators. We are also inviting representatives of the 'Healthy Polish Cities' initiative and spa municipalities to participate in the Congress.

The main thrust of this year's Congress revolves around the question of the development and communication of effective health policy programmes so that the ratio of inputs to outputs is as good as possible.

In addition, Congress participants will discuss:

  • developing effective anti-crisis programmes for participants in the health sector.
  • defining the roles and tasks of communicators. What tools should we have at our disposal when building communication internally and with the outside world?
  • the responsibility of patients to participate in the treatment process. How to get patients to attend their scheduled appointments? How do we help patients to comply with medical recommendations?
  • process management in health care.

Over the course of the two days, we plan to have an active discussion in seeking answers to questions about the role and place of communication in the changing Primary Care Delivery System, questions about how to use the available promotional tools in healthcare and the role of social media in building valuable relationships.

Participants will have the opportunity to learn about the possibilities offered by the Design Thinking process, which is used to create valuable solutions that take into account the needs and expectations of service and product users. In addition, we plan to organise workshops on crisis management and the use of CRM tools to build relationships with patients. Prominent experts in the field of building effective communication not only in healthcare, but also in business and science, will share their experiences with Congress participants.

Deadline: 11-12 June 2019.

Place: District Medical Chamber in Łódź, 3 Czerwona St.
