Already in June we are launching the activities of the "You are needed" initiative!
A press conference, an intergenerational picnic and a scientific conference will be held on 23-24.06.2024 in Poznań. During this event, we will discuss the situation of seniors in Poland and Norway, collect conclusions from participants and, together with panellists from Poland and Norway, we will discuss the issue of creating a positive space for seniors to initiate activities aimed at building intergenerational dialogue.
The first step has already been taken by Ada (age 6), who conceived and drew the initiative's logo. Its simplicity encapsulates our mission: the generations can learn a lot from each other! As part of the Intergenerational House, we will offer a series of workshops - with children and seniors.
The "You are needed!" initiative is made possible thanks to funding received from Iceland, Liechtenstein and Norway under the Norwegian and EEA Funds.
