From 3 July 2019, changes for parents caring for children in hospitals

As of 3 July 2019, amendments to the Patients' Rights and Patients' Ombudsman Act will come into force so that parents of minor patients will not pay any fees for extra nursing care for their children, including for the hospital stay itself.

These changes were called for by the Patient Ombudsman.
