Coalition for Health is a programme aimed at patient organisations from all over Poland, with a particular focus on small or emerging organisations. The project responds to the needs of the environment and is supported by in-depth analysis. Through a series of audits, the development and introduction of a charter of good governance principles, the launch of an expert support centre and dedicated training, it will contribute to building a strong position for organisations in the health sector.
"Most organisations working in the field of health are struggling with the challenges of managing their organisation efficiently and getting professional support and advice. We want to support organisations in this area through a range of activities that will help them in their day-to-day functioning for the benefit of patients. - says Igor Grzesiak of the Institute for Patients' Rights and Health Education - This project also aims to jointly develop principles for good, transparent organisational governance and to improve the image of foundations and associations working in the field of health."
The project includes, among other things, formal and legal audits for selected organisations, on the basis of which a report will be developed that will serve as a basis for further activities in developing and implementing specific solutions for the environment. A Working Group of experts and NGO representatives will also be established, which, on the basis of the report, will develop a charter of good governance principles and a self-assessment questionnaire to guide leaders in transparent and responsible management.
It also launched Patient Organisation Support Centre, in which organisations can benefit from free expert assistance in a chosen field. Organisations have direct access to a computer graphic designer, web developer, direct expert advice on grant proposal writing, IT services, introduction of RODO, development of documents required by law (including digital accessibility declarations), communications, other needs raised by organisations on an ongoing basis.
