The Women in Medicine Foundation is proud to invite all professional women in the health sector to an extraordinary event - the 2nd Edition of the WomenInMed Conference!
This year's meeting will take place on 22 March, at the Poznań International Fair Hall, guaranteeing a full range of knowledge, inspiration and development opportunities for women in medicine. The event aims to create a community of women who support each other, share their wisdom and experience. And also support, create joint projects and events.
At this year's conference, female specialists will speak on the topics:
Module I - Women's mental and physical well-being
Participants will learn how to 'manage' sleep in a challenging medical environment and discover the power of a supportive community and the importance of networking in your career. They will learn ways to stay motivated during an inspirational story.
Among the speakers: Marta Klepka, Marek Wikiera and Mateusz Majchrzak.
Module II - The Power of Communication
This topic will address effective communication in teamwork, communication with the patient and the search for answers to the question "Where do leaders come from?"
Among the speakers: Kinga Zacharjasz, Zbigniew Kowalski and Dr Monika Tomaszewska
Module III - The Situation of Women in Medicine: Law, Career, Health
Looking at aspects of law in a medical context, there will be a presentation on the development of the health-tech field for individual women's health needs. Experts including Agnieszka Graczyk-Szuster, Prof. Maciej Banach, Prof. Monika Urbaniak will share their knowledge and experience.
All women working in health care are invited to the conference, including:
doctors with many years of experience and those just beginning their careers, hospital directors, senior consultants, leaders who manage medical institutions, entrepreneurs who run their own surgeries and outpatient clinics, pharmacists, therapists, psychologists, paramedics, medical technicians, medical analysts, nurses and midwives, medical translators, physiotherapists, medical diagnosticians, medical students.
The event will also see the MedWoman awards for 2023 handed out for the second year running.
