On behalf of Teva Pharmaceuticals Poland, we would like to interest you in a competition that has already been taking place in many countries for several years. It is Humanizing Health - a programme aimed at organizations working pro bono on behalf of the sick and
focused on the idea of restoring a human dimension to medicine. The Polish edition of the competition, entitled Let's Treat with Care! The competition's organiser, Teva Pharmaceuticals Polska, will award the best projects submitted by patient associations and foundations.
With the competition, Teva wants to recognise activities that aim to improve comfort in illness and the mood of patients, especially those struggling with chronic diseases. Hospital and medical care do not always take these aspects into account. Yet it is well known that a smile, a kind word and a friendly gesture have therapeutic power in addition to the treatment itself.
The Let's Heal with Care! competition was launched on 20 May 2024. Until 15 September, interested non-profit organisations can submit reports on their previous year's initiatives via a special form available at www.teva.pl/leczmy-z-troska with detailed information and regulations.
The competition will run until autumn, when five winners will be announced - the creators of the most
innovative activities with a wide reach and high relevance for patients and their carers.
Winners will receive grants for further activities: the main prize is PLN 40,000 and the four final prizes will be PLN 15,000 each. The project will culminate in a gala event called Let's Treat with Care.
The ambassadors of the campaign are: Edyta Jungowska - actress, Professor Cezary Szczylik - oncologist and Dorota Czekaj, president of the Network of Entrepreneurial Women and privately a patient.
