We tested the blood sugar levels of 1,700 public employees

In June and early July this year, four ministries: The Ministry of Health, the Ministry of Finance, the Ministry of Development and the Ministry of Sport and Tourism, educational activities on diabetes were conducted among public administration employees. The campaign was carried out by the Diabetes Coalition as part of the 'Racing with Diabetes' campaign . The blood sugar testing campaign attracted great interest. A total of 1,700 public administration employees were tested. At the Ministry of Health and the Ministry of Sport and Tourism, more than half of the employees had their sugar levels measured. In turn, the largest number of people - almost 700 - signed up for the tests at the Ministry of Development. A total of 550 people took part in the Big Diabetes Awareness Test, including, among others, directors general of ministries and ministers. Analysed by the SW Research institute, the results of the 'Great Diabetes Knowledge Test' will be included in the reissue of the 'Public Image of Diabetes' report to be published by the Diabetes Coalition later this year.
