The daily newspaper Rzeczpospolita published a publication entitled 'The care of every patient'. "In care of every patient".

The task of this title is primarily education focused on the patient's quality of life. The project emphasises the role of the doctor-patient relationship, especially with those diseases that accompany the patient throughout his or her life, rather than being treated on an ad hoc basis. How to talk, ask and fight for available treatment, communicate one's needs and, on the other hand, how to tailor treatment to the individual patient rather than the patient under treatment. Medical Media Solutions Publishing hopes that this is the message that will resonate from this title.

PUBLICATION TOPIC - THE FIGHT FOR SME TREATMENT

To fight for their daughters' health, Marzena and Mariusz Miśkiewicz decided to move to Germany. To date, 42 families from Poland have already left for treatment. It is worth listening to their stories and the reasons why they decided to take this step. Parents of children with spinal muscular atrophy (SMA) have a wealth of knowledge about the disease. It has many faces, is unpredictable and the risk of disability is enormous. Access to treatment for patients with the most severe form is a life-saving solution that gives hope to the whole family. Parents are given a tool to say they have done everything they can for their child, and children the chance to not sit in a wheelchair in the future and to be independent, to work, to fulfil their dreams.

Prof Anna Kostera-Pruszczyk also joined the call for access to SMA treatment for all patients in Poland.

We recommend this much-needed material to you.

THERE IS NO PATIENT, THERE IS A PERSON

The diagnosis of a chronic illness, as well as its consequences, can be accompanied by strong negative emotions. In such a situation, support, care and a positive attitude on the part of the doctor, specialists and relatives can have a positive effect on the patient's mood and self-esteem. It is also worthwhile to act from several sides, providing both specialist assistance and motivation, providing care and support in difficult situations, which has a significant impact on our state of health and the effectiveness of therapy. Among other things, the question of whether a chronic illness must mean a sentence for the patient is answered by Joanna Chatizow - President of the Board of the Association Actively Against Depression.

In the care of the infected, a properly understood contact between the doctor and the patient is of great importance, which should be based on trust on the part of the patient and communication by him/her of his/her needs and possible unfavourable situations occurring during the whole treatment process. As pointed out by Prof. Miłosz Parczewski, President of the Polish AIDS Society - This allows us to react quickly. Prof. dr hab. n. med. Brygida Knysz from the Department of Infectious Diseases, Liver Diseases and Acquired Immunodeficiencies in Wroc³aw adds - An effective therapy is a protection against the spread of HIV and infecting more people. The publication includes an article on the quality of life of infected people.

EVERY PATIENT IS IMPORTANT
