A new public awareness campaign has been launched, "DON'T WAIT, get tested!"

On 24 May 2018, a new social campaign was launched by the Polish Diabetes Association. The prepared spot features Agata Buzek and Jacek Braciak, who play the role of the diabetic and the diabetic. The spot presents the dramatic consequences of a diabetic's neglect of the disease. At the end we hear "Don't wait for it to destroy your health unnoticed". It is estimated that around 420 million people worldwide are diagnosed with diabetes, almost 3 million of whom live in Poland. Untreated diabetes kills, which is why it is so important to take care of yourself as early as possible after diagnosis.
