On 31.03. - 01.04. this year. The LEX MEDICA Student Scientific Circle, operating at the Faculty of Law and Administration of the Nicolaus Copernicus University in Toruń, is organising an All-Polish Scientific Conference entitled "The Role of the LEX MEDICA Student Scientific Circle in the Faculty of Law and Administration of the Nicolaus Copernicus University in Toruń". Medical law from an interdisciplinary perspective.
The conference will have a student-doctoral character, but the voice of experienced experts will be heard extremely often during the upcoming legal and medical sessions. Interest in the event has exceeded the wildest expectations of medical law enthusiasts at the Faculty of Law in Toruń, as more than 100 abstracts have been submitted. The lucky speakers will come to us from as many as 17 scientific centres in Poland and, what is more, the initiative was expressed not only by law students, but also by students of medicine and other related disciplines.
The conference will consist of several panels:
- biomedical
- civil
- pharmaceutical
- penalty
- international
- practical
Each panel will be moderated by an expert in the field who works at the Faculty of Law and Administration of the University of Nicolaus Copernicus University or who cooperates with the Circle. The event will also be honoured by the opening lectures, which will be delivered successively by UMK Professor Małgorzata Świderska, PhD, and UMK Professor Mirosław Bączyk, PhD. Honorary patronage has also been agreed by the Honourable Professor Mirosław Nesterowicz, thanks to whom Toruń has become known as a true cradle of medical law.
