Let's treat with care!- only 11 more days to apply!

The Let's Treat with Care! competition, aimed at foundations and associations supporting patients, is in the final stage of collecting applications - the organisers are waiting for them until 15 September.
So far, non-profit organisations from all over Poland have entered the project, running diverse campaigns and providing care for people affected by various health problems. The competition is very open and is accompanied by a lot of media hype, connected with the desire to publicise the idea of medicine with a human face. Perhaps the next entry to the Let's Treat with Care! competition could come from your organisation?

Treat with care! in a nutshell:

The idea behind the competition

The Let's treat with care! competition is a reminder that there are still often situations in which patients receive medical treatment, but there is a lack of care for their wellbeing or even good, friendly conversation. These tasks are often taken over by non-profit organisations - foundations or associations that run projects for patients, and their work is downright invaluable. This is why the competition organisers want to recognise their efforts and the support offered to patients or those in need of care.

Awards

Winners of the competition will receive grants for further activities:
- The grand prize winner will receive PLN 40,000,
- a further four prizes are worth £15,000 each.
The total pot is £100,000, which will enable patients and/or their relatives to receive compassionate care in addition to medical care.

Competition rules at a glance:

  • Not-for-profit organisations submit their projects from the previous year (whose implementation took place between 1 January 2023 and 20 May 2024), providing support to patients and/or their relatives, to the competition.
  • Deadline for submissions: 15 September 2024.
  • The submitted projects will be assessed in two stages in terms of the reach, innovation and usefulness of the activities for those involved. As part of the latter, every Teva employee in Poland, including myself, will be able to vote for the project that most fulfils the idea of the competition.
  • The announcement of the results of the Let's Treat with Care! competition and the presentation of prizes will take place in late autumn 2024.
