The educational campaign 'Contemporary Medicine' by Medical Media Solutions publishing house under the patronage of the Polish Academy of Sciences has been launched. The publication contains a lot of inspiring material on, among other things, medical innovations, modern obesity treatment, breakthroughs in lung cancer treatment and forms of uncommon contraception.
In the material, among others: Prof. Jacek Fijuth, MD, PhD - President of the Polish Oncology Society, on contemporary trends in oncology, including innovative treatment methods, personalised medicine and the essence of proper nutrition during cancer illness,Prof. Magdalena Olszanecka-Glinianowicz, MD, PhD - President of the Polish Oncology Society, and Monika Bąk-Sosnowska, MD, PhD - on the doctor-patient relationship.
In the material, Prof. Maria Barcikowska-Kotowicz, MD, PhD - Director of the M. Mossakowski Institute of Experimental and Clinical Medicine of the Polish Academy of Sciences, outlines the foundations of future medicine and tells us about the essence of the personalisation of medicine.
