Invitation to the debate: How to effectively protect workers from infectious diseases in times of a pandemic

 On behalf of the organisers of the educational project 'Health Human Prevention', we invite you to participate in an expert debate: How to effectively protect workers from infectious diseases in the era of the prevailing COVID-19 pandemic and why is it worth doing so? CSR practices worthy of emulation.

The meeting will be held on Wednesday 20 October from 11.00 to 12.30 and will be broadcast on the portals: rynekzdrowia.pl and portalsamorzadowy.pl

Selected topics of discussion:

  • EU funding 2021-2027 - opportunity for financial support for prevention and health promotion in the workplace
  • The new EU perspective - up-to-date information, guidance and recommendations for employers 
  • Examples of EU-funded health initiatives in the past perspective - analysis and conclusions
  • Current guidelines for employers on the prevention of infectious diseases at the workplace - recommendations and directions for change 
  • Examples of initiatives implemented by employers - effects and benefits 
  • Employer-local authority cooperation - examples and outcomes
  • Initiatives and tools useful for the design, implementation and delivery of workplace health programmes
  • Question and answer session

The event is the fifth and final in a series of meetings organised this year as part of the Health Human Prevention education project. The debate is addressed to: representatives of Local Self-Government Units at all levels, as well as widely understood employers and entrepreneurs, institutions and entities bringing together people who, due to the specifics of their profession, are exposed to health risk factors. We also invite to participate all those who are looking for information on CSR activities and their benefits, who want to learn about good and proven practices and solutions applied in workplaces and local governments.
