Invitation: Emotions in illness - workshop

You are invited to a Simonton Therapy workshop entitled. "How to deal with emotions in illness and strengthen your immune system? How to support yourself wisely and increase the quality of your life?" to be held from 21 to 24 May 2018 in Warsaw, Poland! Simonton Therapy is Dr Carl Simonton's programme consisting of cognitive-behavioural methods and techniques with proven effectiveness. It complements conventional medical treatment.Working with beliefs allows you to improve emotional functioning, improve quality of life, and achieve better therapy outcomes! - how thoughts and emotions arise - how to influence beliefs and attitudes - how to think healthily and support your immune system - how to manage stress - how to create your personal recovery plan - what is wise support The workshop will be led by Iwona Nawara - clinical psychology specialist, psycho-oncologist, therapist, supervisor and Simonton Therapy trainer and Director of the Unicorn Psycho-oncology Centre. When and where? The classes will be held at the Training Centre of the Sto Pociech Foundation (20/24a Freta Street, Warsaw) at the following times: 21.05.18 - 10.00 am - 4.00 pm 22.05.18 - 9.00 am - 3.00 pm 23.05.18 - 9.00 am - 3.00 pm 24.05.18 - 9.00 am - 3.00 pm We kindly ask you to book your time so that you can attend all the meetings in the workshop. For whom? The workshop is designed for people with chronic illnesses and their relatives. Each participant will receive workshop materials, a set of exercises for individual work and a certificate. The price of £150 includes the four-day training, workshop materials and coffee breaks. Psychologists and people interested in training to become therapists, please contact us.
