Information meetings for patients interested in clinical trials

You are cordially invited to the free patient-led online meetings. Organised by the Medical Research Agency in collaboration with the Clinical Research Ambassadors.

The Clinical Research Ambassadors are a thriving group of active clinical research professionals representing CROs, pharmaceutical companies, centres and researchers. The role of the Ambassador is to conduct educational and informational meetings among patient organisations, associations and foundations, as well as students, local communities and individuals interested in clinical research.

The aim of the meeting is to spread and promote knowledge of clinical trials and create awareness of the process of developing new medicines and medical technologies. It is dedicated to all those interested in the subject of clinical research, and in particular to patients themselves. At the meeting you will get answers to frequently asked questions:

  • What are clinical trials?
  • Are there any clinical trials for me?
  • Where can I find information on clinical trials?
  • Is it safe to participate in a clinical trial?
  • What are the rights and responsibilities of a clinical trial participant?
  • What happens if I take part in a clinical trial or do not take part?
  • Can I opt out of the study at any time and if so what happens then?
  • Will I be paid for my participation in the clinical trial?

The first meeting will take place 16.02.2021 r. at 18.00-19.00

Further meeting dates of the same nature are planned for the future.
