The Institute for Health Communication invites you to the two-day 1st International Patient Empowerment Congress in Warsaw, which will take place on 24-25 April at the Olympic Centre of the Polish Olympic Committee. The event will bring together Polish and international healthcare experts and patient organisations to discuss the benefits of a system in which the patient is central.
The aim of the congress is to popularise the idea of the 'patient as a partner'. We want to support patients in understanding the functioning of the health care system in Poland, provide them with knowledge on how to skilfully exercise their right to information and patient rights. Our task is also to promote innovative medical therapies and technologies and to stop the dehumanisation of medicine.
