Taking preventive measures from the moment a child is born is a concern for his or her proper development. The National Health Fund invites you to participate in today's "Wednesday with Prevention", dedicated to the prevention of the health of the youngest.
Prevention from birth
The first days and weeks after the birth of a baby are extremely important for his or her proper development. Screening tests are carried out on all newborn babies. These enable early detection of diseases and the implementation of appropriate treatment. Around 30 examinations and tests are carried out. Within the first 24 hours of a baby's life, immunisation already begins.
"Preventive health care for newborns and premature babies" is the theme of today's "Wednesday with Prevention". - a cyclical educational action of the National Health Fund.
It will discuss the importance of prevention with regard to newborns and premature infants and remind the primary care midwife of her tasks during 'patronage visits'.
