Polish women lead very active lives. On a daily basis, they have to combine the role of mother, attractive woman and professional success. The constant pressure and life on the run make them pay a high price for their efforts - in terms of mental and physical health. As many as 74 per cent of Polish women experience severe stress at least once a week and more than one in five struggle with it on a daily basis, which has a negative impact on their overall condition.
A new educational campaign 'Health on pins' has been launched to educate and create awareness about prevention and the need for a holistic approach to women's health. The pace of professional and private life, takes its toll on women's wellbeing and health. It is time to start speaking out about this.
The ambassadors of the 'Zdrowie na Szpilkach' project are Agata Młynarska - journalist and publicist, Patrycja Markowska - singer, Beata Sadowska - journalist and Paulina Koziejowska - TV presenter.
