The Ministry of Health has published a draft law establishing a Vaccination Compensation Fund, which will be administered by the Patient Ombudsman. A fast-track compensation pathway and transparent rules for compensation in the event of serious adverse reactions after COVID19 vaccination are the main thrust of the amendment to the law, which is expected to come into force on 1 May this year. Comments on the draft can be submitted until 24 January.
