The Positively Open Jubilee competition will be opened

For the tenth time, local governments, health care institutions and NGOs submitted projects related to HIV prevention and education. The 11 best ones won!

12 October 2020: The next, 10th edition of the Pozytywnie Otwarci (Positively Open) competition is an opportunity for NGOs, local governments and health care institutions to receive funding for projects on HIV/AIDS. Grants amounting to a total of 200 000 PLN are funded by Gilead Sciences Poland, which has allocated a total of around two million PLN since the first edition of the competition.

The jury of Pozytywnie Otwarci (Positively Open), consisting of Professor Anna Boroń-Kaczmarska, Dr n.med. Regina Podlasin, Maria Seweryn, Professor Andrzej Gładysz, Dr Mariusz Gujski, Dr Michał Kaźmierski, Janusz Michalak and Rev. Arkadiusz Nowak, selected the winners of this year's edition of the competition. Grants for the implementation of projects on HIV/AIDS prevention, education and information activities will be awarded to the following organisations (in alphabetical order):

  • Community Education Foundation for the project 'HIV test - do it yourself',
  • Umbrella Foundation for the project "It's that simple!",
  • International Medical Students' Association IFMSA-Poland for the project 'A Streetcar Named Desire',
  • Youth Sociotherapy Centre No. 6 for the project 'Aware=safe',
  • Slupsk Cultural Centre for the project "Did you already know then?",
  • Podwale Seven Association for the project "Virtual counselling centre 'You, it's here! - Education, prevention, support',
  • Volunteer Association "DA DU" for the project "I am an informed woman, I do HIV testing",
  • Volunteers Against AIDS Association "Be with us" for the project "#HIV I am just like you",
  • Family Development Society, Zielona Góra branch, for the project 'I take care of myself, I take care of others - I test myself',
  • Unite for People Living with HIV/AIDS 'Positive in the Rainbow' for the projects 'City teaches II' and 'Holiday Plus'.
