"Health Human Prevention" is a project that has been running since 2013 and aims to draw attention to the public health aspect, both centrally and locally. Through educational activities aimed at selected target groups - including local governments, employers in the broadest sense, institutions and bodies bringing together people who, due to the nature of their occupation, are exposed to harmful biological risk factors - the implementers draw attention to the multifaceted benefits of investing in the prevention of infectious diseases in local communities and workplaces.
As part of the initiative, a website was created www.zdrowieczlowiekprofilaktyka.pl - which is a valuable source of information and free tools to facilitate the planning, implementation and evaluation of health programmes implemented by both local authorities and employers.
The website contains, among other things, AOTMiT-compliant ready-to-use outlines of health policy programmes, evaluation questionnaires, programme cost calculators and programme forms. Also available are examples of good practice - experts' experiences and recommendations, information on changes in regulations, new laws and regulations, as well as alternative sources of funding. The project has produced a number of practical guides including "How to implement effective Health Policy Programmes?", "Responsibility for Health. Prevention of infectious diseases as good CSR practice in the workplace and part of regional sustainability', 'Local Government Health Policy Programmes and the Citizen's Budget. A relationship that has a future" and "EU funds in the health sector, or how to get funding for prevention programmes". In addition, anyone interested can take advantage of consultations with the project's experts, including doctors, epidemiologists, experts in occupational medicine, occupational health and safety, experts in law and EU funds, as well as representatives of local authorities with many years of experience in implementing health measures.
In 2021, the organisers of the project will organise a series of five expert debates focused on gaining the practical knowledge needed to implement health measures, including raising alternative funding for their implementation. The debates will be organised jointly with the Polish Enterprise Society, publisher of the Health Market and the Local Government Portal, and will take place on 20 and 31 May, 21 June and 7 and 28 September. Both participation in the events and all materials, tools and expert consultations are free of charge.
The originator and initiator of the project "Health Human Prophylaxis" is the Aby Żyć Foundation, Compass Public Relations, Market Access Audit in partnership with Pfizer Polska Sp. z o.o., which has been supporting activities for effective vaccine prophylaxis in Poland for many years.
The Institute for Patients' Rights and Health Education took patronage of the project.
