Onk run returns to Warsaw! Join the run at the National Cancer Institute and support those affected by cancer.
The Sarcoma and Sarcoma Sarcoma Association invites you to the jubilee run for health, the "15th Oncology Run - Together for Health!""The Oncology Run - Together for Health!" is a run that we have been creating continuously for 15 years for people with whom we share similar experiences - cancer patients. Knowing the difficulties they face every day, we want to express our solidarity with them in such a symbolic way and acknowledge their strength and the effort they put in to be able to reach for their dreams every day," says Kamil Dolecki, organiser and President of the Sarcoma Association. It is also an opportunity to draw public attention to the topic of cancer and cancer prevention. "We want to sensitise and raise awareness among the public and show everyone that by helping others, we can also help ourselves''. - he adds.
Onkobieg is returning to the National Institute of Oncology in Warsaw, but it will still be possible to run a virtual race. "We are happy to return to the stationary run formula to meet on 11 September 2022 at the National Institute of Oncology in Warsaw. We will all stand at the starting line at 11:00 a.m. and run along the designated route to crowdsource an expression of unity with patients undergoing cancer therapies. For those who will not be able to take part in the run in Warsaw, we leave the option of participating in the virtual run. This is a form already known to many participants from previous years', recalls Szymon Bubiłek, organiser and Board Member of the Sarcoma Association.
