Because of the COVID-19 pandemic, there is less and less talk about HIV in Poland. Last year, the number of tests performed for infection with this virus almost halved in our country! This is a serious problem because, after all, we have not yet defeated HIV. This virus, untreated, still leads to the development of full-blown AIDS and sometimes death.
The key to fighting the HIV epidemic is education, and the eleventh edition of the Pozytywnie Otwarci (Positively Open) competition, the oldest continuously operating Polish grant project focused on education and prevention of HIV infection, is expected to contribute to its success. The Positively Open competition has just launched and will run until the end of June.
