Every year, one and a half thousand people in Poland are diagnosed with multiple myeloma. Unfortunately, for many of them, a quick diagnosis and optimal treatment is still a matter of luck. The second phase of the 'It Takes a Little Luck' educational campaign is being launched to start a public discussion about the lives and needs of patients suffering from haemato-oncology diseases.<\/strong> The campaign implemented by the Institute for Patient Rights and Health Education, 'It takes a little luck', shows that haemato-oncological diseases do not have to mean 'judgment'. The aim of the campaign is to build public awareness of blood cancers and support patients by presenting the stories of people who manage to lead active, normal lives despite their illness. The second edition of the campaign focuses on multiple myeloma, and this edition includes a spot that highlights the perspective of patients facing this type of cancer. The film shows the different facets of happiness in our lives. For some it's getting their dream job, for others meeting the love of their life. However, the perspective changes dramatically for a myeloma patient who needs happiness to receive the right treatment at the right time, and thus to be lucky enough to live.<\/p>\n
