Until 30.11. patient organisations can submit application forms for the 'Grant for Health' competition. Associations have an additional two weeks to prepare a proposal with a concept for activities that address women's most pressing health needs. Two winning organisations will receive a grant of: PLN 20,000 to be used to implement the winning projects.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Organisations applying for this year's edition of the 'Grant for Health - Gedeon Richter and the Institute for Patients' Rights and Health Education in the service of patients' are expected to present a concept of activities contributing to the improvement of quality and comfort of life in the area of women's health. Among other things, the range of measures implemented, the strength of the impact on beneficiaries and whether the level of innovation will be assessed. The announcement of the results will take place on 11 February 2021 at a gala event celebrating World Sick Day. Due to the high level of interest from patient organisations, the organisers decided to extend the deadline for project submissions by up to two weeks.<\/strong><\/p>\n

- The competition is open to Polish non-governmental organisations (NGOs) whose aim is to work for the quality of life of patients and their carers. Importantly, each project submitted must be feasible for implementation in 2021. One association can submit a maximum of two projects <\/em>- says Igor Grzesiak<\/strong>, Vice President, Institute for Patients' Rights and Health Education \u00a0- <\/em><\/strong>It is important from our point of view to maximise the potential effectiveness of the project in terms of patient benefit. We emphasise that we also invite organisations that do not yet have experience in project implementation to participate. This is an excellent opportunity to turn theory into practice<\/em> - he adds.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The submitted concepts will be assessed by a Competition Jury of medical industry experts: Prof.<\/strong>\u00a0Violetta Skrzypulec-Plinty, MD, PhD<\/strong> - Head of the Department of Women's Health and the Department of Sexology, Vice-Chancellor for University Development and Promotion of the Medical University of Silesia in Katowice, Marty Majchrzak<\/strong> - psychologist, social researcher, Igor Grzesiak<\/strong> - Vice President of the Institute for Patients' Rights and Health Education and Aneta Grzegorzewska<\/strong> - Director of the Corporate and External Relations Division of Gedeon Richter Polska.<\/p>\n

As the organisers point out, projects submitted to the programme must address the pressing health needs of women. The focus of the competition is on patient quality of life, prevention and treatment standards. \u00a0<\/p>\n
