At the European Parliament in Brussels, the Stroke Alliance for Europe (SAFE) presented the report 'Brain strokes: the scale of the problem'. It provides a comprehensive overview of the pathway of care for stroke patients in European countries.
Analysis of the report 'Stroke: Scale of the Problem' shows striking disparities in virtually every aspect of stroke care across European countries, both between and within countries. Furthermore, virtually none of the countries included in the document have comprehensive post-stroke patient support.
On behalf of the Brain Stroke Foundation, which is the Polish member of the Stroke Alliance for Europe, I am sending a press release about the launch of the aforementioned Report.
