Patient Organisation Support Centre launched

The Institute for Patients' Rights and Health Education has launched a Patients' Organisations Support Centre to provide support activities to organisations working in the health sector. In this respect, the Centre supports foundations and associations by providing free advice on: patient rights, communication counselling, accounting, support for local initiatives. As part of the Patient Organisation Support Centre, organisations working in the health sector can use the following services free of charge:

  1. In terms of patient rights: counselling on individual cases of violation of patients' rights by patients' organisations, support on content of patients' rights in specific therapeutic areas, preparation of fact sheets on patients' rights to be used by organisations in the creation of publications, information materials for patients
  2. In terms of communication and image: advice on communication with the media and social media communication, strategic consultation on ongoing educational projects and social campaigns, ongoing support for image materials: preparation of logos, business cards, assistance with website preparation, setting up social media accounts/groups
  3. In terms of accounting: assistance in preparing or checking the balance sheet, profit and loss account and notes, accounting advice.
  4. In terms of supporting local initiatives: co-financing of patient education meetings, workshops and conferences.
