We joined in to help Mirek recover!
At the end of July 2023, during a cycling trip with his closest family - not expecting any danger - Mirosław Romejko had a serious accident. On a wide, gentle and marked trail, an educational path in the Narew valley - he came across a damaged culvert under the road and, falling into a deep hole in the middle of the crossing route - severely damaged the cervical section of his spine. Despite the doctors' efforts, a surgical operation to decompress his spinal cord - he is currently unable to move his legs and arms. Despite such dramatic symptoms - together with the whole family - we are still of good cheer, as the spinal cord has not been severed.
Mirek is a musician by education and profession - he is an excellent player of wind instruments such as clarinet, saxophone, flute and many others, and works in Musical Theatre. He also performs in concerts all over Poland - playing on stages with many well-known artists. His unique sense of humour and critical, witty, intelligent view of the world around him brings a smile to the faces of his family, friends, acquaintances and all the people he meets on his path.
